Adminision Requirements

• A pass in Matriculation or Foundation studies with minimum CGPA of 2.0 and a credit in Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent; OR
• A pass in STPM with a minimum Grade C (GP 2.0) in any 2 subjects and a credit in Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent; OR
• A Diploma in Computer Science or Software Engineering or Information Technology or Information Systems or equivalent with a minimum CGPA 2.5 and a credit in Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent; OR
• Any other Diploma in Science and technology or business studies with a minimum CGPA of 2.5 may be admitted, subject to a rigorous internal assessment process and a credit in Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent, OR
• Passed the Malaysian Skills Diploma (DKM)/ Advanced Diploma Malaysian Skills (DLKM)/ Malaysian Vocational Diploma (DVM) with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 subject to the approval of the Senate/ Academic Board of the institution related; OR
• Passed DKM/ DLKM/ DVM with at least CGPA 2.00 AND have at least two (2) years of work experience in the field related.

Candidates with CGPA below 2.5 but above 2.0 with a credit in Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent may be admitted, subject to a rigorous internal assessment process. Candidate with a credit in computing related subject at SPM or STPM level or its equivalent may be given preferential consideration.

English Language Proficiency (International):

• Applicants will be required to provide documentary evidence of proficiency in English in any one of the following examinations:
• Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) at a score of 410 or higher is required; or
• International English Language Testing Services (IELTS), with a minimum overall score of 5; or
• Pearson (PTE) score of 36 or higher, or
• Malaysian University of English Test (MUET) with a band score of 3.

(Note: IELTS and TOEFL test results must be less than two years old and all IELTS must be the academic version of the test.)
