Through coursework and research, students focus on the critical intersection between current and future energy technologies and their impact on the environment. The programme provides a foundational understanding of the science and engineering behind energy conversion, delivery, and use; as well as an understanding of the physical processes that govern the transport and eventual fate of pollution in our environment.
Students also learn quantitative analytical tools which can inform and greatly improve policy and planning decisions involving energy and the environment.
