Research in Transportation & Logistics

Faculty and students in the Transportation and Logistics Program jointly undertake research addressing critical needs of the transportation and logistics sectors. The focus of research is on the planning, design and operations of transportation and logistics systems with considerable attention given also to the development of appropriate strategies and policies that support the planning, design and operations.

Research projects generally require intense collaboration with industry, government, and other universities and are concentrated in the following application areas:
