Ornamental Plant Biology
We have studied in depth the anthocyanin biosynthetic pathway in local ornamental plants with the long term aim of understanding the process of pigmentation. We are now in the process of creating novel local plants with the higher aim of dissecting further the roles of the specific enzymes involved.
