Emerging Internet and Web Technologies

Recent technological developments related to the Internet and World Wide Web have dramatically increased the need to develop Net-centric applications of broader capabilities. Among the emerging technologies to be investigated are those related to web services, web agents, web semantics, and new portal technology. Research activities are focused on the development of new techniques, tools, and value-added applications in novel areas such as mobile services, intelligent transportation systems, precision agriculture, eco-tourism, as well as electronic design automation.
