and Technology (MUST) aims to be the nucleus for SME training in Malaysia with a joint collaboration with Berlin Technical University in Germany and Fraunhofer Institute, Berlin, which are
among the best technical and innovation centres in the world.
The professional training and joint collaboration would focus in innovation, intellectual capital planning and technology forecasting as to improve the innovative capacity for SME's. The training would be a professional course level such as Executive Masters in Innovation Management.

MUST Collaborates with Maveric Systems for Software Testing Programme
Unique industry-academic partnership to develop skilled software testers
Petaling Jaya, August 20 2009: Malaysia University of Science and Technology (MUST) collaborates with Maveric Systems (Malaysia Branch), a leading independent software testing firm to formulate workshops and short term courses in Takaful Insurance and Islamic Banking in line with Software Testing.
The software testing course, first of its kind in Malaysia, would commence early November 2009 and will be open to both fresh graduates and existing professionals. Upon successful completion, deserving students will be absorbed into Maveric Systems.
MUST, Malaysia's premier postgraduate university also plans to venture into R&D along with Maveric Systems in a phased manner and setup a quality council to expand software testing horizons in Malaysia. The industry academia partnership is aimed at bridging the supply-demand gap for quality testing professionals in Malaysia. (more ..)

Working visit by The UK's Royal Society
The aim of their visit is study and explore the changing landscape of science and innovation across a diverse selection of countries with large Muslim populations. Malaysia has been chosen as the first country to be studied and the analysis of Malaysia's STI landscape will involve a mix of mapping, data gathering, bibliometric analysis, interviews with scientists, policymakers, thinkers and academicians.

MUST Visit to High Commission of Maldives
The High Commissioner-designate today met with the Vice President Mr. Badly Shah Bin Ariff Shah, of the Malaysian University of Science and Technology (MUST). The meeting was held to introduce MUST and its new undergraduate programmes. MUST is recognised for its research focus in areas such as Biotechnology, Energy & Environment and Construction Engineering & Management.
The meeting was also attended by Marketing and Communications Manager, Mr. Shahenshah B. Hj Abdul Rahman and Assistant Manager, Corporate Affairs of MUST, Mr. Muhamma Razlan Rashid Ali. (Source)
