Visit by Minister of Education
It was an eventful day for MUST when the Minister of Education, YB Tan Sri Dato'
Seri Musa Bin Mohamad paid a working visit to the university on 30 January 2003.
He was greeted by the EXCO members of
MUST Foundation and MUST senior officials at its Kelana Jaya campus.
During his visit, the minister was given a briefing on MUST by the President,
Y Bhg Tan Sri Tajuddin Bin Ali and the Vice President (Research and Corporate Relations),
Prof Ghazally Ismail. He was then taken for a campus tour, and
introduced to some of the pioneer students of MUST in the IT laboratory.
Tan Sri Musa commented positively on MUST as he was very impressed
with its development and seriousness in promoting R & D in the country.
YB Datuk Dr Effendi Norwawi, one of the trustees of MUST was also present during
the minister's visit.
