Travel and Immigration Guide
  
Any foreigner who wishes to study in Malaysia is required to obtain Student Pass. Foreign students are allowed to study in Public or Private Educational Institutions which have been approved by the Ministry of Home Affairs.

Non-Malaysian nationals who are holding other passes such as: Diplomatic Pass, Dependant Pass (if you are below 18 years old) or Permanent Resident Status, are required to send ONE copy of your passport or related documents to the University. Holders of these passes are not required to apply for Student Pass.

Dependent Pass holders, who are aged 18 years or above must apply for a Student Pass

The procedures below will give international students a better understanding about visa, student pass and other procedures in order to enter and stay in Malaysia for study purposes.
STUDENT PASS & ENTRY VISA
All Non-Malaysian nationals who wish to study in Malaysia are required to hold a valid Student Pass.


UPON ARRIVAL IN MALAYSIA
Upon arrival, the institutions representative will pick you up & proceed to the immigration check-point.


WORKING IN MALAYSIA
Non-Malaysian students are allowed to work on a part-time basis for a maximum of 20 hours a week.



LEAVE & RE-ENTER MALAYSIA
A Multiple Entry Visa (MEV) allows you to leave and re-enter Malaysia during the validity of your Student Pass.


SOCIAL VISIT PASS
Social Visit Pass will be considered to immediate families of Post-Graduate students.
