The group study rooms are ideal for use by two or more students who want to work on class assignments together. The presence of computer and projector makes it possible for everyone to see the same thing at the same time, and to develop and practice presentations with equipment similar to university classrooms.

Reservations for group study rooms are highly recommended, since the rooms are in great demand. Make sure you are familiar with room reservation guidelines before you make your reservation.

You will not be able to install your own software on a study room computer. However, if your instructor requires you to use software that is not on the computer, he or she may ask MUST IT team to install it. If you temporarily store files on the computer's hard drive, you may want to refer to the guideline - Backing Up Your Data for instructions on how to copy your files to removable media.

Standard public site software is installed on the computers, and each has an Ethernet connection to the university network and to the Internet.
